We are looking for a Parts Supervisor to join our fantastic team in Boroughbridge.
Crossroads Truck & Bus Ltd is the Volvo Truck and Bus specialists across Yorkshire and Lincolnshire. We provide a total transport solution for the industry, from new trucks to used trucks, and parts and servicing for trucks, buses and trailers.
Currently recruiting for a Parts Supervisor to join the team at our Boroughbridge depot.
Objective of the role is to develop business relationships with existing and potential parts customers. To promote our parts offering, to increase parts purchases and promote workshop labour hours through the sale of “fitted” options. To manage, develop and support the parts team in their daily activities.
The Role
- To maintain existing customers, to develop business levels with them, to find and develop new customers.
- Responsible to ensuring the warranty / TMA process is followed. Raise necessary invoices, goods return notes and assist with warranty submissions as and when appropriate.
- Responsible for stock control and stock turn.
- To oversee and drive forward the parts marketing campaigns within the depot.
- Making appointments to meet and develop business levels with key account customers.
Requirements
- Commercial experience in the B2B or B2C sectors / commercial parts industry.
- Good IT skills & knowledge of Microsoft Office and Excel.
- Excellent communication skills
- Unwavering determination.
- The ability to work to target and deadlines.
- Team player.
Shift Pattern
Week One: Monday to Friday 07.00am - 16.00pm
Week Two: Monday to Friday 08.00am - 17.00pm
Week Three: Monday to Friday 09.00am - 18.00pm
1 in 3 Saturday mornings 08.00am - 12.00noon
