Thomas Hardie Commercials Ltd is still just as recognisable today as it once was, not least because many of our principal employees have devoted their lives to the company and our customers. These long-serving employees provide an exceptional source of expert knowledge and continuity across all our depots.
Whilst the company is recognisable, we have of course changed immensely through the decades, by adapting to continuous changes and leading our industry through some turbulent times as the world around us has changed and evolved, most recently navigating through the COVID-19 pandemic and cost-of-living crisis.
This year we will commemorate the 40 years in various ways, and our employees will be involved in the activities that we have planned throughout 2025. We will also share regular updates on our website and via social media, reflective of this significant anniversary.
For many, 1985 might seem ancient history, but for older colleagues it’s a memory of youth, and an opportunity to share fond memories with newer appointments who have recently taken a position with the company, and the younger generation who will benefit from the experience attained from their time-served peers. The same is true of each year in turn: as it allows us the opportunity to honour former colleagues and understand how the company, the business and our people have changed, adapted and grown.
