Hartshorne Group named as Service Market Dealer of the Year

Company wins an award for the second year.

Hartshorne Group has won a top award from Volvo Trucks UK & Ireland in recognition of the outstanding levels of service that the company delivers to customers.
 

The Midlands-based commercial vehicle dealership - which operates at nine depots across the region - has been named as Service Market Dealer of the Year for 2023.
 

Once again the Hartshorne Group has been singled out for praise by Volvo Trucks UK & Ireland, having won Dealer of the Year and a New Truck Sales award in 2022.

 

Hartshorne Group, Managing Director James Cowen said: "This award recognises the fantastic achievement made by everybody at Hartshorne. Firstly, I would like to thank all our staff for a wonderful team effort. Each of our roles have their individual challenges, and we have embarked on a journey together, to continually improve our service levels, by, investing in our people and facilities. Secondly this would not have been possible without the tremendous support of our customers, to whom we are eternally grateful”.

 

Ian Wrench, Service Market & Retail Director – Volvo Truck UK & Ireland, presented Hartshorne with its latest award at the recent Volvo Trucks UK & Ireland Dealer Conference.

 

Highlights of Hartshorne's performance taken into account, include increasing their first-time pass rate for MOTs from 97.6% in 2022 to an industry-leading 98.5%.

 

Improving the company's Workshop Customer Satisfaction rating to 93%. Hartshorne has also sold 23 Electric Vehicles and increased its Genuine Volvo Parts volume and extended parts offering through Truckshop.

 

Phil Brookfield (Hartshorne Group - Operations Director), added "We are proud to have implemented a number of initiatives to improve our breakdown performance, alongside Volvo Action Service, with callout acceptance rates and scramble times both rising.
