McCarthy Commercials, Gillogue, Clonlara, Co. Clare have an immediate vacancy for a qualified HGV technician


This is an opportunity to join a leading HGV dealership, located close to Limerick City.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Be fully qualified HGV mechanic but may suit 3rd\4th Year Apprentice
  • Experienced in the diagnosis, servicing, maintenance & repair of Heavy Commercials Vehicles
  • Be capable of producing quality work to manufacturer’s standards.
  • Have the ability to complete paperwork relating to Retail, Warranty & Contract work
  • Work well under pressure both as part of a team and individually.
  • Hold a minimum full Class B driving licence.
  • Have a flexible approach to work and be willing to work overtime if required.
  • Communicate well with other team members.
  • Have basic computer skills.
