Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the role will cover:
• General building maintenance including basic plumbing, decorating, painting and DIY repairs.
• Undertake light installation and carpentry i.e. assembling furniture, cabinets, shelves, notice boards, replacing locks and door handles.
• Carry out and assist with depot planned preventative maintenance tasks.
• General fitting of appliances and repair of existing equipment.
• Clearing or cleaning out general areas.
• Basic brick and concrete works.
Requirements
• Previous maintenance experience or trades background would be preferred however full training will be provided.
• Able to work as part of a team.
• Experience of operating hand and power tools (own tools required).
• Pro-active in approach and with great attention to detail.
• Valid CSCS card preferred but not essential.
• An ability to follow instruction.
• A responsible approach to health and safety regulations.
• IOSH Certificate or other relevant safety training preferable, although formal training can be provided.
• Full driving licence, as travel to all depot sites will be required. Company van is provided for business use only.
Hours
Monday to Friday 08.30am - 17.00pm (however flexibility is required)
