Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the role will cover:
• Carry out all PAT testing across the group annually.
• Carry out any fixed wire testing upon renewal of five year certificate.
• Ensure all emergency lighting across the group is working and that checks are carried out on an annual basis.
• Alongside the maintenance team, carry out all electrical remedial works within the group.
• Carry out general maintenance tasks across the group.
• Ensuring that electrical systems adhere to the national electrical safety standards and regulations.
• Advising management when to replace aged electrical equipment to prevent hazards.
Requirements
• City and Guilds 18th Edition Electrician Course (or equivalent).
• PAT Testing Certificate.
• Full driving licence, as travel to all depot sites will be required. Company van is provided for business use only.
Hours
Monday to Friday 08.30am - 17.00pm (however flexibility is required).
