Parts Field Sales Executives (Various)


Job Purpose:

To maximise sales of Partech All Makes and Trailer Parts and our extensive range of company products and services. Working from a stocked van, calling to existing and prospect customers in a designated geographical region.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Identify new customer accounts and develop business relationships to gain incremental business
  • Maintain and develop working relationships with existing customers and ensure complete customer satisfaction and loyalty
  • Promote and sell full range of products and services offered by Partech and the Group Company (Irish Commercials), and ensure targets are met in line with the strategic and annual plans of the business
  • Negotiate directly with customers
  • Provide weekly/monthly reports on sales activity and performance against targets
  • Organise, plan and actively prospect customer visits within a designated area to maximise sales potential and route efficiency
Skills Profile:
  • Previous relevant commercial/selling experience essential
  • Good technical knowledge of Trucks, Trailers and Buses, and their various components
  • Experience planning sales targets and forecasts
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Good administrative skills
  • Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Experience managing a large sales territory
  • Computer literate
  • Full, clean driving licence
