A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join our fantastic team at SHREWSBURY
depot, as a Parts Advisor.
The Hartshorne Group are the leading commercial vehicle distributors for the Midlands, Derbyshire, Staffordshire, Shropshire & Nottinghamshire area. We provide full parts & service facilities for Volvo Truck & Bus.
The ideal candidate will be outgoing and willing to learn. You should be a good team player and exceed customer expectations in delivering a 1st class service. Commercial parts experience in a similar environment or previous experience within a similar role would be a distinct advantage, however full training will be provided.
The Role
- Processing the daily stock order.
- The booking in / out of parts and ensuring the correct part is booked to the correct job.
- Supply parts to the workshop.
- Stock control, handling, storing, locating, and identifying parts.
- Following warranty processes by ensuing returned parts are labelled and sent back to the manufacturer in a timely manner.
- Processing customers parts orders.
- Identifying, sourcing, ordering, and pre-picking parts.
- Communicating with the front counter teams.
- Ensuring the parts department is kept clean and tidy.
- Covering the front counter during the holiday period.
Hours of work
Monday to Friday 8.00am to 6.00pm
Alternate Saturdays 8.00am - 1.00pm
