Motorway maintenance business Egis Lagan Services has taken delivery of the first Volvo FM Low Entry truck to go into service in Ireland.

Dover-based East Kent Recycling has taken delivery of 23 new trucks supplied by Volvo. The complete order leverages the manufacturer’s broad product range, including multiple FL, FE and FMX trucks, to service different roles in the customer’s busy operation.

Continuing its ambition to increase the adoption of electric vehicles within its business, Ringway has become the first UK customer to take delivery of Volvo Truck’s newest model, the FM Low Entry. The zero tailpipe-emission battery electric trucks are purpose-built for city operations, combining near-silent running with excellent visibility for the driver, thanks to a five-star Direct Vision Standard rating.
